Good luck finding a copy of Dark Cloud for under $50.
Not trying to defend Sony, but it's pretty decent price considering the pricing of some of the games now.
In Australia, for example, the cheapest you can find Dark Cloud on eBay for is about $65.
Rogue Galaxy - $50.
Twisted Metal Black - $20.
War of the Monsters - $36.
For people who don't already own the games, this is incredibly cheap.
